The City of Surrey’s Fusion Festival was named "Best Festival" at the regional Canadian Event Industry Awards in 2017, as well as the “Best Festival” at the annual Special Event Magazine Gala Awards competition on January 10, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee. The award recognizes the world’s top special events and the hard work of industry professionals who organize them.

How to get to Surrey Fusion Festival

  • Walk: The best option if you live close by. Walk or wheel down to the event along one of the bike-friendly streets. These streets are often traffic calmed and safer for those on foot or wheeled mobility device.

  • Bike: You can securely park your bike at the Bicycle Valet, located at Holland Park at the corner of King George Blvd. and 100th.

    • Get your Bike Route Map to plan your way here. Dedicated bike lanes run along 132 St, King George Blvd and Whalley Blvd. Bicycle friendly roads are located around 134 St, 98th Ave, University Dr and 100th Ave.

  • Take transit: We're at Holland Park, right across from King George Skytrain Station. Plan your trip with the TransLink Trip Planner.

    • Hop on the SkyTrain, Expo Line, to King George Station located a 5 min walk from the park.

    • Buses 096, 314, 316, 321, 326, 329, 502 are all located within a 10 minute walk from the park.

  • Carpool: Find a Ride Share mate and take carpool in. 

  • Limited public pay parking is available at City Hall. We encourage patrons to take transit or other forms of transportation to the festival.

Buying food at the Festival

  • Buy tickets to buy food at the cultural pavilions, from any ticket booth on site. The pavilion operators will not be accepting cash.
  • Tickets: $1 each. (For example, $20 buys you 20 tickets.) Items normally range between 2 to 8 tickets at the event.
  • Note: Event organizers will not refund unused tickets.

A sensory friendly space will be provided on site for attendees looking for a quiet, comfortable space during the event. You can find the sensory friendly space tents located West of the SFU Celebration Stage. See map for details. 

An ASL interpreter will be provided for all opening ceremonies and important announcements at this event.

Rules and Regulations

All guests will be subject to search for prohibited and illicit items upon entry in the interest of public safety.

Fusion Festival is a strictly a non-smoking or vaping event.

The following items are not allowed on the festival grounds*:

  • Pets

  • Barbecues

  • Drugs or Alcohol

  • Pop up tents

*Additional items may be deemed prohibited or illicit as per event security.
