Downtown Surrey BIA: How to Make Kids Crafts

Get crafty this Fusion Festival! The Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association has put together kids craft kits to make while participating in the Virtual Surrey Fusion Festival Cultural Video Series. Learn how to make a variety of kids crafts, including a paper lantern, windsock, flower crown, beaver puppet, lion mask and a ribbon dragon.

Grab your craft kit and let's get started. If you didn't pick up a kit - that's okay! Head to your local craft store or see what you have at home (but you might have to get a bit more crafty!).

Note that crafts will require additional supplies (glue or glue dots, felt markers or crayons, scissors).

Dragon

To create this craft, you will need your craft kit supplied by the Downtown Surrey BIA. If you did not pick up a craft kit, this craft might not be relevant.

Supplies

  • Craft kit containing all of the dragon cut outs
  • Glue dots or glue

Instructions

This craft requires detailed instructions that can be found in your DSBIA craft kit. Please note that this craft is a little more difficult and better suited for a child over the age of 7.
