The Zion children Cultural Group is a non profit organization established to promote the understanding of African culture through music and dance. The mission of the group is to develop and encourage the understanding of African cultural values, and to introduce the youth, community, and students in local schools to participate in African music and dance. We provide interactive activities such as presentations, workshops, lectures and performances in community centers, and after-school programs.
The Zion children Cultural Group fosters community participation in the performing arts at all levels. the group was established by Datey Dittey in 1992,many Togolese have become refuses in neighboring countries including Ghana. This is were group started as a cultural group entertaining people and bring positive energy amoung the people in the refuse camp.
