Mia Woezon / Welcome!
Due to the socio-political unrest of 1990 and exacerbated in the years 1992 and 1993, many Togolese have become refugees in neighbouring countries including Ghana. This is where the group, Zion Children started in 1993. Preserving the Togolese culture and giving hope to the hopeless, Zion Children was not only in cultural and social terms in the camp, but also in the nearby communities of the camp. After having remarkable success in Ghana, the group is now in Vancouver and invite you to enjoy a taste of their home culture.
